Owned by Jim & Ellen Kaplan, this 15 acre Silverado Bench winery lies immediately SE of

the Oak Knoll district. The name is homage to Jim’s long and esteemed career in Mathematics at Northwestern and BU colleges. The wines are made by Dave Phinney (Papillon, Machete, Mercury Head) while Steve Matthiasson, whose clients include Araujo, Chappellet, David Arthur and Spottswoode, handles the viticulture and John Truchard heads up the farming.
