Yannick Rousseau grew up in the Gascony region of France, influenced by his father and grandfather.  Stewards of the land, they taught Yannick to respect and nurture his environment.

With that foundation, it's no surprise that he's become such a meticulous vineyard manager and winemaker.

Having come to the states in 1999 as assistant winemaker at Newton to Luc Morlet and Michel Rolland, Yannick honed his skills at Chateau Potelle and the Mt. Veeder appellation.

His first release was 2007 with an exotic spiced, mouth watering Colombard from one of the last (34 year old) Colombard vineyards in Russian River as well as a Chardonnay, Cabernet and Merlot from, where else, Mt. Veeder.
